
I LOVE smoothies!!!! I experiment with all sorts of flavors and varieties. What I've found with this smoothie is that it does not need any juice or honey for added sweetness. TJ's yogurt provides the perfect amount of sweetness along with the strawberries and banana. The raw cashews blend in nicely, you really don't know they are there, but help keep you feeling satisfied. Enjoy.
1/4 cup raw cashews
1 cup strawberries
1 banana
1 6oz low-fat organic vanilla yogurt
1 cup crushed ice
1 cup water
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. You may add more water or ice as needed to reach your ideal consistency.
Pour into cups or glasses and serve on a hot day. These are also great for breakfast on the go.
